The Lang family established Langs Appliance in the 1970's with the goal of providing effective home appliance service to their local community.  Previous to its present location on Calumet Avenue, the business was located on Memorial Drive. 

To complement their established service force, the Lang family introduced a home appliance sales force in 1989.  Today, the mission of Langs Appliance is to provide knowledgeable and effective home appliance sales and support.

As all things and people change, Lang's Appliance Service is to. Sue Lang has been retired  from the business for three years already and Dennis will be going into semi-retirement in 2005. With this change will come many new challenges for Dennis and Sue. One of the biggest will be turning the operation of the business over to their daughter Karen Lang- Schweigl and  Son Steve Lang. They will be managing Lang's Appliance Service in the future.

This will not be to disruptive for the business, as Dennis will still be on the staff of Lang's Appliance part time. This then being said, we are looking forward to the future with expansion of new services and introduction new products.
